Magnesium Is the Supplement Most People Actually Lack
One of the few supplements a lot of us genuinely fall short on.
Most supplements are solving a problem you don't have. Magnesium is a rarer case where a real gap is common.
A quiet workhorse
Magnesium is involved in hundreds of processes — muscle and nerve function, blood sugar, sleep, and more. Modern diets, heavy on processed food, leave a meaningful share of people running low. Low magnesium can show up as muscle cramps, poor sleep, and fatigue.
Food first, then maybe a supplement
You can get plenty from leafy greens, nuts, seeds, beans, and whole grains — another reason those foods keep coming up. If you do supplement, gentler forms like magnesium glycinate or citrate are easier on the stomach than oxide.
The move
Lean on magnesium-rich foods first. If you still think you're short — especially if sleep or cramps are an issue — a modest supplement is low-risk, but check with a doctor if you have kidney issues or take medications.
